Appointment charges

You do not need a doctor’s referral for physiotherapy, we can lodge the claim to ACC or your insurance company at your initial consultation.

We do have a surcharge (co-payment) for each ACC consultation as ACC does not cover the full cost of the treatment. We are on the Careway ICP contract and Careway clients have their surcharges covered by Careway.

We offer face-to-face or video consultations for clients in New Zealand. Please indicate which you would prefer when you book your appointment.

We offer discounted rates for Community Card holders and family members of WSAFC members.

If you have investigation results (X-rays or MRI reports) or a referral from another health care provider, please email them to info@backtoyourfeet.co.nz

If ACC or your insurer does not accept your claim you will be liable for the cost of the treatment at private rates.

We are a small, fee-for-service clinic, meaning we collect payment at the time of consultation (cash, contactless payments, eftpos or direct payment).  We also are a Southern Cross EasyCare Provider. We can provide receipts on request

Cancellation policy

If you do not show for your appointment often it means that someone else could have received a treatment in that time slot.  We are a busy clinic and reserve the right to charge a "did not show' or "cancellation fee" ($10) for clients that either do not show for their appointment or cancel on the day hours of the appointment.

We sell SAGA Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) leg cuffs!


Blood Flow Restriction Training is a great way to build muscle when you are injured, post operatively or when you don't have access to heavy weights but want to get a bigger response from your training than what you can achieve without compression. These state of the art compression cuffs come with a free app. They measure and monitor your limb occlusion pressure to ensure you are training at an appropriate volume.
